Greeting to all who may read this,
I’ve have been out of touch with my blog, but now I will make more of an effort to add at least once a week. At the moment I am in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, England. My last account was the beginning of my organic farming adventures, which has been almost 2 years ago. After my stay in Georgia I boarded a plane for Hawaii to begin adventures on a farm on the big island. When I arrived in Honolulu I stayed a few nights with some fellow couchsurfers (www.couchsurfing.org) in Waikiki beach to celebrate the New Year and then I was supposed to move on. But while staying in Waikiki for the few days and seeing the lifestyle of my new friends, I decided to stay for a bit longer. There were three of them in an apartment and they happen to need a fourth roommate, so I accepted their offer to stay. I found work as an ‘errand’ runner for a millionaire from Laos and I was able to set my own schedule and worked only when I wanted to. My job consisted mostly of driving his truck to his farm house on the north shore and taking supplies (herbs, fruits, flowers, etc.) to his Thai restaurant in Waikiki (Keo’s Thai Cuisine). After work I would go home for a couple of hours, relax a bit before going to work at the restaurant busing tables until 11pm. Life was amazing in Hawaii as I saw many sunsets while swimming in the ocean in the early evenings, surfing on the weekends, traveling the island to other beaches, listening to live music with a few gin&tonics. I was in Hawaii (never continued with the faming lifestyle…didnt quite work out for me) for 6 months before I met my current girlfriend, Kathryn. During my last week before coming home I met a beautiful English rose at an Irish pub. She was in Hawaii on vacation on her way to live in Australia for a year. We spent the whole week together swimming, exploring, laughing, paddling, holding hands. It was more than just a holiday romance, so I decided to join her in Australia.
